This is a beautiful 23 cm / 9 inch and 30 cm / 12-in Cottage Mill® set in Elm. Amazing set with one featuring some bark and the both with very dramatic bug galleries. The grey shades are amazing in a very subtle way. Very elegant.
Elm dies naturally due to Dutch Elm Disease, which is a fungus that invades the tree. After the tree dies, bugs get in between the bark and the wood and carve out these amazing tracks as they move around.
All have an adjustable ceramic CrushGrind® mechanism, with a 25 year guarantee.
