This one is almost all cream with some beautifully light streaks of tan up the length, plus a cute little void in the sapwood to reveal the heartwood at the base.
Maple sometimes goes through a "spalting" process where a mould gets under the bark and slowly transforms the colour and density into a cream and black, and lightweight.
There's only one in the world like this one.
