This is a beautiful set sized for a small city apartment. It's the first mills I've featured that have the CrushGrind Mini mechanism inside. These mini mechanisms allow me to use smaller branches, but are just as robust and solid as the standard mechanism.
The maple of this set has a cool feature, where the sapwood has opened up to reveal the heartwood.
And birch is relatively rare considering that it gets rotten and punky quickly and most of what I find naturally fallen is unusable.
